As a member of the “Girls on the Jab” collective, Leigh Anne Logan started her journey in October 2022. She had no idea that it would lead to such profound changes in her life.
Meet Leigh Anne
In October 2022, my health journey began with a diagnosis of prediabetes. Determined to halt the progression to type 2 diabetes, I consulted my doctor, who recommended Mounjaro. Little did I know that this medication would lead to profound changes in my life. (I have since transitioned to the use of compounded tirzepatide.) Shortly after starting the medication, I stumbled upon a small GLP-1 community on TikTok. I found invaluable information from others sharing their journeys. Inspired, I decided to share my own story, unaware of the deep connections and friendships I would form within this supportive community. Throughout this journey, I attended several meetups with friends I had made in the GLP-1 community. Nervous about meeting strangers from the internet, I quickly discovered a core group of like-minded women. Our first meetup was in Nashville in October 2023, followed by another in Atlanta in January 2024. In Atlanta, eight of us formed a collective group called “Girls on the Jab.” We started hosting group live sessions twice a week to spread positivity and provide resources, transforming our group from friends into family. The “Girls on the Jab” each have our own stories and things that worked and didn’t work for us individually. One of the products that we all can agree on is Biocare. The dietary beverage helped each of us along our journey, minimizing GLP-1 side effects and providing an added source of protein, vitamins and minerals. With the launch of Biocare snacks, we have added some of these to our list of favorites, and even have our own bundle available which includes our faves!
